Our Executive Director attended MISSIONFEST '97 in Vancouver, B.C., and together with Rev. Bernice Gerard presented a successful Israel Seminar at MISSIONFEST, entitled "From Kibbutz to City Dwellers" (so as to fit into the Fest theme: "The Urbanization of The World). A booth was also operated at MISSIONFEST '97 selling books, videos, cassettes, calendars, photos, etc; and giving out large quantities of "free literature" about Israel and the Church. Alan also met with the Victoria group planning a large Israel Event there sometime in 1997; and spoke in the Courtenay Foursquare, and PAOC Black Creek Churches on Vancouver Island. "Canadian Friends" also held an ISRAEL NIGHT in Vancouver's Fraser-view Assembly; and a cassette tape of that evening (including music by Merv and Merla Watson, comments by Chairman Bernice Gerard, and Report by Alan Lazerte) is available upon request for $8.00.

A cassette tape is also available of the Courtenay annual REPORT ON ISRAEL...an annual event for the past six years...Very up-to-date...for $8.00.
