  • Suffering Without End
    Stan Goodenough - March 7, 2008
Yet again, on Thursday night, a knife was thrust deep into the heart of the Jewish people, robbing eight young men of their lives, and hundreds of their loved ones of their joy. This morning, waves of grief and anger washed over Jerusalem as the eight, shrouded bodies - seven teenagers and one 26-year-old - were laid out on benches in the sun. Thousands gathered outside the seminary, children peering in disbelief at the bullet-peppered windows, as rabbis and officials eulogized the dead.

  • An assault on the heart of Zionism
    Calev Ben-David - March 7, 2008
The death toll last night was nowhere near the worst of those attacks they have carried out in the past. But in bringing their war of terror right into the halls of Mercaz Harav, the institution founded by and embodied with the spirit of the Zionist's movement's most revered religious figure, the Yishuv's first Ashkenazi Chief Rabbi Avraham Yitzhak Hacohen Kook, the terrorists struck with the most terribly precise accuracy they have demonstrated to date.

  • Condi's echo-chamber
    Caroline Glick - March 7, 2008
One might think that in the face of Fatah's obvious support for Hamas's efforts to destroy Israel that Rice might have begun to question her devotion to Palestinian statehood and support for Fatah. It is not only towards Israel and the Palestinians that Rice insists on operating in a policy vacuum. Her stewardship of other central issues are also marked alternately by a studied silencing of dissenting views and outright neglect of US national interests in favor of a perception of "progress" which doesn't exist.

  • The World is to Blame
    Yehuda Poch - March 3, 2008
Throughout the missile war that Israel has been facing along its border with Gaza, statesmen and diplomats around the world have been saying that they "support Israel's right to defend itself, but...." Always there has been that very small, very meaningful "but" at the end. And that "but" speaks more loudly than all the condemnations of the missile attacks and all the expressions of condolences over Israel's losses. That "but" belies the anti-Semitism that underpins all of the world's encouragements, pleadings, condemnations and other statements.

TheThe Mountains of Israel is an exciting and refreshing new perspective on the Arab-Israeli conflict, clearly outlining how God is fulfilling His Word in modern-day Israel.
