- Death of the Bush Doctrine
Jeff Jacoby - January 17, 2008
The Bush Doctrine — born on Sept. 20, 2001, when President Bush bluntly warned the sponsors of violent jihad: "You are either with us, or you are with the terrorists" — is dead. Its demise was announced by Condoleezza Rice last Friday.
- 10 essential words
Jerusalem Post - January 14, 2008

- Here we go round the mulberry bush
Barry Rubin - January 13, 2008
To paraphrase the nursery rhyme, Bush is merely taking us around the mulberry bush once more. Namely, this is an exact replay of Bill Clinton's presidency. Cal Thomas - January 15, 2008
During his recent trip to Israel, President Bush visited several places that re-affirmed his faith, including Bethlehem and the Sea of Galilee. Then exhibiting far greater faith than believing Jesus could walk on water, he asserted that "peace" could be had between Israel, the Palestinians and her Arab neighbors. One exhibition of faith has some historic roots and witnesses; the other is rooted in fantasy.
