- Welcome Christian friends
Jerusalem Post - September 23, 2007
The ICEJ has sided faithfully - through thick and thin - with embattled Israel since 1980. It was set up in response to international condemnation that year of the Knesset's declaration of Jerusalem as Israel's indivisible capital. Censorious world opinion pulled 13 embassies out of Jerusalem. It was then that Christians resident here, when celebrating the Feast of Tabernacles, decided to counter the global tide and inaugurate their embassy in Jerusalem.
- Ahmadinejad's Holocaust Myths
Alan M. Dershowitz - FrontPageMagazine.com - September 28, 2007
In his speeches, most especially the one at Columbia University, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad repeats two myths about the Holocaust. The first every reasonable person knows is a total lie: namely that the Holocaust did not occur. The second myth, however, is one that escapes critical attention for the most part, because many people are not aware of its falsity. The myth is that the Palestinian people and their leadership had absolutely nothing to do with the Holocaust.
- Gaza's place in Bible's prophecies
Hal Lindsey - worldnetdaily.com - September 28, 2007
Gaza, part of the biblical "land of the Philistines" was the place where Samson toppled the Temple of Dagon on his enemies, giving his life in the process. Gaza was first conquered for Israel by King David and subsequently fell to the Assyrians, the Egyptians, the Babylonians, Persians and Greeks. But in the days of King David, it was part of Israel. In Jesus' day, it was part of the Hasmonean Kingdom that ended with Herod the Great. In 1967, Gaza again became part of Israel when Egypt lost it in the Six Day's War.
- Ahmadinejad's overlooked message
Caroline B. Glick - Jerusalem Post - September 28, 2007
In spite of what the West would like to believe, Ahmadinejad and his allies from Ramallah to Waziristan, from Gaza to Kandahar to Baghdad, are not negotiating. They are fighting. Rather than ignore them or seek to find nonexistent common ground, we must defeat them - first and foremost on the battleground of ideas.
