   Meanwhile, the UN is behaving not as an international policeman, but rather as Iran's defense attorney. During his visit to Israel Wednesday, UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan sounded like an Arab leader with his unrestrained, obnoxious condemnations of Israel for every act of self-defense it has taken in Gaza and Lebanon on the one hand, and his seemingly endless tolerance for Iranian threats of nuclear genocide against Israel on the other.

  Hal Lindsey - WorldNetDaily - September 1, 2006  The purpose of Annan's Middle East trip is to find ways to blame the victims. The war crime that started the war in the first place not only goes unpunished, but is legitimized by the U.N. through its unwillingness to even discuss it as being relevant. After all, the victims were only Jews. They should be used to it by now.

• Amnesty Int'l redefines 'war crimes'
  By Alan Dershowitz - Jerusalem Post | August 30, 2006   The two principal "human rights" organizations are in a race to the bottom to see which group can demonize Israel with the most absurd legal arguments and most blatant factual mis-statements. Until last week, Human Rights Watch enjoyed a prodigious lead, having "found" - contrary to what every newspaper in the world had reported and what everyone saw with their own eyes on television - "no cases in which Hizbullah deliberately used civilians as shields to protect them from retaliatory IDF attack."
